WEDNESDAY 6TH JANUARY |
UPDATE- WEDNESDAY 6TH JANUARY THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED TODAY.
We apologise for the late notice - please listen to Radio Forth tomorrow morning and we will do our best to get information out as soon as possible. This website will also be updated on Thursday 7th at 8 a.m.
We have been told that we have been added to a priority list for our area being gritted.
Staff waited this morning at all gates and paths to meet unaccompanied children. Any child who was not with an adult was brought into school and parents were called. We have learned however, that some children turned back, having met other parents or children. Please explain to your child that if they walk to school alone or with friends that they MUST continue to school so that our staff may contact you. |

We are all very aware that the weather has been very exciting over the holidays .... PLEASE make sure that your child is suitably dressed to return to school. The playground has 6 inches of snow, so please send the children in warm coats and wellies!
Please check Radio Forth in the mornings over the next few weeks, if the snowy weather continues, as school closures are announced there. |

Homework Challenges
We are delighted that the children and parents are enjoying our Homework Challenges pilot. We have had wonderful feedback already (and you've only had it for 2 days - woo hoo!). Parents have shared that they like the fact it's family orientated and they are finding it FUN. The pupils tell us it's fun too, that they love the active learning and having choices about which piece of work to do! |
